ANTHONY BOURDAIN

Anthony Bourdain (1956–2018) was an American chef, writer, traveler, and television host known for his sharp wit, honesty, and curiosity about food and culture around the world. Bourdain first gained attention as a working chef in New York City, most notably at Brasserie Les Halles.He became famous in 2000 with his best-selling memoir Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly, which exposed the gritty reality of restaurant kitchens and made him a cultural icon. He was known for his authenticity, dark humor, rebellious streak, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
