This is one of 3 paintings with a dome subject. They were painted in 2008, shortly after my mother passed away. I was struggling with the feeling of lost protection from her. She had always been my safety net when I got in trouble. In this one (of 3) I am showing my internal chaos that was left behind after she passed.
I called it MINDLESS because it took a long time to get it back.
